Kingdom Elite K9 is a family-owned business, which is also home-based and includes board and train. Our canine training center houses only 3 dogs at a time, so your dog gets the most attention, training, and fun throughout the day! Our sessions range from routine, fun, family involvement, and more. This helps to keep the dog interested and allows for different training scenarios. Here at Kingdom Elite K9, we understand that you are trusting us with not just a dog, but also a member of your family. We offer private lessons, board and train, and puppy classes.

Wondering what our board and train program for your dog looks like?

When a dog first arrives, he/she is going to experience a lot of new things. New place, dogs, smells, sounds, etc. This can add some stress, but most dogs adjust fairly quickly. With that being said; in the first couple days we do a lot of free treating. We bring your dog out and socialize them in different areas while providing them with treats (treating). This allows for some bonding (human-canine bond) between dog and trainer. After the first few days, we will start going strong! In our first week, we start with heel, sit and down. During our 2nd week, we incorporate our “stay” and our recall. In week 3 we are doing a lot of finalization training; taking your dog on off-site walks, and making sure to add in more distractions. If you choose our six-week program, during week four, we start with the e-collar. During the following weeks, we will continue obedience and collar training.

Wondering how you will take over when your dog is ready to come home?

Don’t worry! Upon pickup, we will have a private session, where we help teach you all that we have taught your dog. This can sometimes be intimidating, but stress not. Here at Kingdom Elite K9, we strive to make sure you are confident in all the canine training and tools we provide. After our session, if there are any areas of struggle, hesitation, or confusion on what you should be doing we will continue lessons until you feel absolutely confident in your canine training.
